FAQs
Yes. An autism diagnosis is typically required before beginning ABA services. If your child has not yet received a diagnosis, our team can help connect you with a qualified professional who provides autism evaluations and diagnostic services.
BCBS PPO, OPTUM/UBH, AETNA
Every child is different. We do not require a predetermined number of therapy hours. Our clinical team will complete an individualized assessment to determine your child’s needs and recommend the appropriate number of ABA therapy hours based on medical necessity, your child’s goals, and the assessment results.
Yes! Roots offers both Speech Therapy (ST) and Occupational Therapy (OT). Our therapists work collaboratively with your child’s ABA team to provide coordinated, comprehensive care tailored to your child’s individual needs.
We work to get your child started as soon as possible. After meeting with your family to learn about your child’s needs, we complete an assessment and develop an individualized treatment plan. We then submit the plan to your insurance provider for authorization. In most cases, children can begin services within 2–3 weeks, depending on your insurance provider and authorization timeline.
